Cat phones

Cat rugged mobile phones are made to be strong and durable. CAT designed the phones to endure severe conditions for the users such as construction and agriculture workers. The responsive website consists of 4 sections: web store, account, community and support.

I designed and developed a new CMS (WordPress), Pattern Library and Style Guide along with the designs for the entire Cat mobile website (60+ pages).

I was involved from an early stage - understanding in-house producers' needs to designing the components, designing the web store, purchase flow, social pages and help section, delivering Pattern Library and Style Guide.

Web store

The web store section informs and reinforces the customer’s buying decisions by offering in-depth product information. Each page displays relevant contents and gives the customer a virtual feel for the product.

The dynamic and straightforward designs make it easy for the customer to add items to the basket — the minimal information required during the check-out and registration processes.

Community

#Rugged section inspires their potential customers with real-time Cat phone experience by ambassadors and actual users. It makes it easy to share exciting stories and news using social media channel.

Support

Support can be a crucial selling point, a reason for a person to choose your product over the competition.

CAT phones support section helps the customer to find answers quickly and to answer questions or fix technical issues. It can influence the decision to buy or sign up.
